Focusing on process development and verification, Ziptronix operates an in-house foundry dedicated to process verification and prototyping advanced product concepts for customers specifically interested in licensing. Ziptronix has fabricated a broad range of devices and worked with a variety of technologies for evaluation by our customers. These devices and technologies include Front Side Illuminated (FSI) and Back Side Illuminated (BSI) CMOS Image Sensors (IS), advanced heterogeneous material for displays, 3D SOCs, MEMS, and pressure transducers encapsulated at the wafer level. We use high-quality, industry standard tools in the engineering of manufacturable processes.
Our clean room facility allows us to provide a full range of 3D IC fabrication, wafer level packaging, and testing services aimed at supporting process engineering and prototyping activities for potential licensees. .
By taking advantage of our advanced prototyping services, manufacturers can rapidly turn designs into products for validation to accelerate the path to qualification and volume production. To further expedite production, Ziptronix' flexible prototyping facility is complemented by high-volume production support through third party, merchant foundry partners.
